About us

East Africa Commodities Group

We build direct supply relationships between verified East African farmers and global wholesale buyers — with full traceability from farm to warehouse, delivered through Fulfilment by Alisi.

Who we are

Built on the ground in East Africa

East Africa Commodities Group (EACG) is a UK-registered agricultural export business with operations in Tanzania and Kenya, supplying wholesale buyers across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. We source Hass avocados and red onions directly from smallholder and mid-scale farmers, managing the supply chain from field to FOB.

Our team of Field Coordinators works directly with farmers across producing regions including Mang'ola in Arusha, Singida, Murang'a and Meru. Every farmer in our network is registered, profiled, and assigned a traceable batch ID at point of collection.

Fulfilment by Alisi is our buyer-facing platform — a direct channel for wholesale buyers worldwide to source verified East African produce, confirm origin before purchase, and build ongoing supply relationships. Every batch ID in our system is queryable live.

  • Verified farmer network

Every farmer is registered by a Field Coordinator. Farm location, collection date, and quality grade are recorded at each collection.

  • Batch ID traceability — live database

A unique batch ID is assigned at every collection and stored in the Alisi origin database. Buyers can verify any batch in real time — farmer, region, FC, grade, and weight.

  • Direct relationships

No brokers between you and the source. You deal with EACG, EACG deals directly with the farmer. Shorter chain, better price, cleaner provenance.

  • Internationally structured, East Africa-rooted

UK registered entity for commercial and compliance purposes. Tanzania-based operations for sourcing. Dual structure designed for export integrity.

How it works

The Fulfilment by Alisi supply chain

From producing region to your warehouse — every step managed, documented, and verifiable.

1

Sourcing on the ground

Field Coordinators visit registered farmers, assess quality, and collect produce. A batch ID is created at every collection recording farmer, location, date, and grade — and written to the Alisi database.

2

Sort hub & export

Produce is consolidated at regional sort hubs, graded, packed, and prepared for export. We handle phytosanitary certification, certificate of origin, and shipping documentation.

3

Delivery & verification

Shipments depart FOB from Dar es Salaam or Mombasa. Every batch carries its printed origin ID — buyers verify on arrival using the Fulfilment by Alisi batch lookup, anywhere in the world.
